All-Negro Comics (June 1947_ was the first comic book dedicated to Black America and created exclusively by an African-American staff. The originals are rare and expensive, and reprints rarely provide this kind of authenticity. While many of the characters and the portrayals might be considered inappropriate today, we can to put this book in its time frame of 70 years ago. This is real history!
